Some of my happiest moments have been on "small ships" with less than 1300 guests. My wife and I have sailed on most of the Seabourn, Silversea, Crystal, Azamara, Oceania, Regent, and Windstar ships (40+ cruises). Our favorites are "repositioning cruises" going from one continent to another; and voyages to Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, Alaska, Scandinavia, and the Med.

My company is Cruises & Cameras, LLC. Before I was a travel advisor, I used my doctorate to help school districts and colleges with strategic planning. Since the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I have earned two certificates in epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health. I’m using what I've learned​ to help my clients deal with the realities of the pandemic. My most recent book is​ "How to Plan Your Next & BEST Cruise" (Amazon, 2019, 186 pages). I also write a weekly column for TRO Travelgram, one of the most widely-read newsletters and blogs in the travel industry.
